5.4.2 Grammar spot - Some/ any

Some is used in a positive sentence, where the noun is plural.
Any is used in a negative sentence and in a question, where the noun is plural.

Example:

Positive sentence:

There are some trees.                            some + plural noun

Negative sentence:
There are not/ aren't any bicycles.           any + plural noun

Question:
Are there any chairs?                            any + plural noun
